Christopher Landsea

Christopher Landsea is science and operations officer at the National Hurricane Center of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. He is one of the world's foremost experts on hurricanes and received the 2007 NORR Administrators' Award. In 2005 he publicly resigned from authorship of a United Nations report on climate change, charging the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is "both being motivated by pre-conceived agendas and being scientifically unsound." He received his Ph.D. in atmopsheric science from Colorado State University.
