An Encyclopedia on Climate Change

Global warming is a complicated issue. It’s easy to get confused by all the scientific arguments and conflicting claims. We created this site to help everyone from high school students to scientists working in the field to quickly find the latest and most reliable information on this important topic.

ClimateWiki is an encyclopedia of climate change research organized by topic. If you are new to the issue, consider reading the Introduction to Global Warming. If you are already well versed in the issue, search the Featured Categories in the search box to the right or use some of the other navigation tools on this page.

ClimateWiki is moderated and edited by The Heartland Institute, “the world’s most prominent think tank promoting skepticism about man-made climate change.” [The Economist, May 26, 2012]. Ninth International Conference on Climate Change - The Heartland Institute is hosting its 9th International Conference on Climate Change from July 7-9 in Las Vegas, where leading international scientists will discuss "man-made global warming" and its potential effects on plants, animals, and human welfare.

The Heartland Institute is hosting the event in partnership with FreedomFest, who will host their annual conference July 9–12 at Planet Hollywood. The event is an opportunity to meet the scientists, policy analysts, and grassroots leaders who champion the cause of sound science against authoritarian global warming alarmism.

The past eight International Conferences on Climate Change have been praised as unqualified successes. The conferences were extensively covered by the international media and allowed more than 1,000 experts to share information and ideas regarding the latest science, economics, and public policy insights on global warming. More than 4,000 people have attended the eight previous conferences, and videos of the presentations are available online at Heartland's conference archive page.

Speakers already confirmed include prominent authorities on climate change such as Fred Singer, Craig Idso, Willie Soon, Roy Spencer, Marc Morano, Christopher Monckton, and Anthony Watts. For more information on the conference and a registration form, click here
